Let's go over the basic concepts for synthesising a nice thick pad using Wavetable. After that we can introduce some light modulation to keep it interesting.
After many hours of listening I have picked the winner of the remix competition. Artist: Indent Track: Falling There were so many bangers but this one ultimately won out and felt like the closest thing to a track that I would release on Holding Hands, making it ideal for me to pick as a remix candidate. It was also really lovely that I could pick a track from someone who has been a central part of the live stream crew for months. Even more wicked was the fact that a lot of the final contenders were also from the live...
This handy little nugget is a quick way to add some dynamic life into your synth sounds or to create cool blended effected between two samples.

This is a practise that I have been meaning to start doing for years. I had heard such great things and now I have finally joined in I can attest to its usefulness. Making your own sample pack from the highlights of your past tracks is a sure fire way to recycle great ideas in a way that you simply wouldn't in any other circumstance. Each track you write is full with great loop, FX hits and drum samples that you have crafted to make your own. Don't do them the disservice of chucking them away after one use!

This will be a space where you can ask for and give feedback to each other on your music, share and...

This one is a on the subtle side but it can certainly be used to great effect when deployed in the right moments. Sidechaining is a great tool to help elements stand out in the mix but sometimes you don't want such a dramatic effect. This lets you deal with the specific problem frequencies like a surgeon.
