Time to get freaky with the Granulator. Stick a spoken word vocal in there and then use the LFO to modulate the parameters, creating a sweet twisted glitchy effect.
The time has come again to reach down into the undergrowth and see if we can pull up a rare banger. I've got a bit of a new template and I'm intrigued to see what comes out of it... Live tonight at 8:30pm GMT
Here's one way of making a bass line without having to play anything on the keyboard. All you need is a kick drum and Echo. You can make interesting syncopated bass line rhythms with just these two and then you can add a couple other effects to make it more interesting. This is great for techno, electro or anything with these sorts of influences.

This one came out on Holding Hands a couple of years back. It's all about a shifting repeated synth line with tons of automation. One for mind benders...
Free Download: https://www.ableton.com/en/packs/time... edit: Sorry I thought it was free but realised after posting the video that it is actually not. The whole pack costs £39. My bad! TimeSting is a killer sequence generator from Skinnerbox. It's a Max 4 Live free download and well worth picking up. It generates acid midi sequences and can be used as a jumping off point for all sorts of wicked bass lines and melodies. Sorry for the less than ideal audio from my mic. I've just moved back to our flat as I mentioned in the video and my studio has become the...
