Time to make a banger on the full Ableton 11. I think it would be nice to try and utilise a bunch of the new features and have a play around with it.

This is a great way to generate some unusual synth line patterns and tons of variation in your grooves.

Bit of a journey on this one today but I thought it could be useful to show a bit more of my process when writing a drum loop. For this one I tried using some ideas from a Randomer video I saw a few years ago. The plan was to use samples that aren't actually drums and then make the loop from that.

It's mix down time. After a few rounds of trying some mix downs in Ableton I am going to try a return to Logic and see how it feels.

A month or so ago I put out a request for up and coming producers to send in their unreleased tracks for me to pick one to remix live on Youtube. I got sent far more entries than I was expecting and it wasn’t easy at all to pick a winner.
